YOUTH AMBASSADOR OUTREACH TRIP APPLICATION
YOUTH ACROSS BORDERS / HONDURAS (January 18-25, 2025)
Thank you for your interest in being a Youth Ambassador! Our Youth Ambassadors conduct workshops and facilitate discussions for the children living with HIV we travel to see. Past workshops have included yoga, HIV education, journaling, and creating vision boards to help the children imagine and plan for their future outside of the group home. Spanish interpretation is provided as needed.
If selected to join our outreach team, your scholarship will include basic travel insurance, roundtrip airfare from the United States, dormitory style lodging, meals, and sightseeing entrance fees. Youth Ambassadors are responsible for a $200 non-refundable deposit and the cost of obtaining their passport. Participants can expect a full week of activities, morning and evening group reflections, and a sightseeing day in Honduras. Your service trip will have a maximum of 16 people and self-pay team members will be joining your trip to help support your efforts.
